2007 Petite Sirah
Tasting notes
The 2007 Petite Sirah is the boldest wine that we produce. After staining every piece of equipment and clothing in the winery with its dark pigment, we are left with a full bodied yet delicately refined red wine. The nose reveals lavender and a medley of berry flavors. As the wine hits your palate and the layers begin to reveal themselves, the complexity and diversity of flavors is difficult to describe. Earth, anise, and wild herbaceous notes outline the more intense rounded fruit flavors of cranberry and boysenberry. Our 100% Petite Sirah finishes with soft but distinct tannins.
