2021 Pianetta Sangiovese

Seared crimson in color with complex aromas of
dried raspberry, mild vanilla toast and notes of
pepper and wet shale rock. On an initial taste,
flavors of mild Licorice and slight black olive give
way to red cherry and caramelized wood. Mild
pepper finishes this wine with solid acidity and soft
enveloping tannins. Smooth mouthfeel for such a
young wine. Very drinkable now, but will no doubt
improve over time. Decanting suggested.
